ONG offers filmmaking workshops to tribes, schools and organizations that are looking for an intensive 8 - 10 day experience. In that intensive course, our students le
One of the main catalysts for creating On Native Ground was to give Native youth a platform to learn and grow as filmmakers, scriptwriters, producers and on screen talent. ONG offers filmmaking workshops to tribes, schools and organizations that are looking for an intensive 8 - 10 day experience. In that intensive course, our students learn to write scripts, shoot video and then edit to make a short film. Our award winning student films have screened at film festivals across the world.
On Native Ground has been working on many different musicals for stage and screen.
Most recently "Something Inside Is Broken" will be broadcast on PBS. It has won 24 awards for Best Native American Feature and Best Musical. It has also won a Native American Music Award for Best Rock Album.
